Trina 665W vs Jinko 620W vs LONGi 650W: A Datasheet Comparison
Trina 665W vs Jinko 620W vs LONGi 650W: A Datasheet Comparison
These three modules show up in the same tender shortlists, but they are not interchangeable. One is a large-format bifacial module, one is a lighter bifacial module, and one is a high-efficiency monofacial module. The table below uses the manufacturer datasheets we supply, namely Trina TSM-DEG21C.20, Jinko Tiger Neo 66HL4M-BDV and LONGi Hi-MO X10 LR7-72HVH, so the comparison is like for like.

What the numbers mean in practice
If roof area is the constraint
The LONGi 650 W is the most power-dense of the three at approximately 241 W per square metre, and its 28.5 kg weight is the easiest to handle. The trade-off is that it is monofacial, so there is no rear-side gain. It makes most sense on membrane roofs, low-albedo surfaces or residential roofs where bifacial gain would be small.
If rear-side gain matters
The Trina 665 W and Jinko 620 W are both bifacial dual-glass modules. On white gravel, a reflective roof membrane or a raised ground-mount, the rear side can add roughly 5 to 25 percent output depending on albedo and mounting height. The Jinko is 6.3 kg lighter and about 15 W per square metre denser, which usually makes it easier to handle on commercial roofs.
If you are optimising container freight
The Jinko and LONGi both load 720 pieces per 40HQ, against 594 for the Trina. At 620 W and 650 W respectively, that is approximately 446 kW and 468 kW per container, against approximately 416 kW for the Trina. The Trina frame is larger and the module weighs 38.7 kg, which is the reason for the lower count.
If warranty length is a tender requirement
The LONGi carries a 15-year product warranty, one of the longest in this group, while Trina and Jinko are 12 years. All three offer 30-year power warranties, but the degradation curves differ, so compare the guaranteed percentage at year 30 rather than the headline years alone.
How to choose without overpaying
- Start with the roof or land constraint, not the brand. Area-limited projects should compare watts per square metre; weight-limited roofs should compare kg per module.
- Decide whether bifacial gain is real for your site. If the surface is dark or the modules sit flat, monofacial is often the better economic choice.
- Check the string design. The three modules have different Vmp and Voc, so the number of modules per string and the inverter MPPT window will differ.
- Compare landed cost per watt, including freight. A module with fewer pieces per container can lose its price advantage once freight is allocated.
What we can send you
For any of these models we can provide the current datasheet, the IEC or UL certificate pack, flash-test data on request and a container loading plan for your destination port. We do not publish prices because they move with cell and freight costs. Send the model, quantity and Incoterm and we will quote against current stock.
